Have seen it advertised in 'Bonsai Focus' mag. etc., but never seen any for sale in the UK or any knowledge of its benefits. I don't know but would imagine, as an import, it would be pretty expensive. Gwen |

Iv seen it for sale in France on eBay. according to the site (first link In my earlier post) they claim better root development than akadama and suggest that it dosent break down as easily after frosts, would be interested in trying it out just to see what it's like. But as you say gwen, delivery from Europe would not be cost effective. Perhaps one of the sponsors might get a test batch in for us to try. |

£58 incl postage for a 14 litre bag by mail order. It can never be that good. |

I don't think you will find better quality soil mix components other than whats available in the uk. All these soil types will produce a good quality soil mix that fullfills all the requirements of our trees. You really don't need to spend that sort of money to produce good soil mixes, and at £58 incl postage for a 14 litre bag I would want it to repot my trees as well ! |

I agree 58 pounds is too much, and more than I would consider paying by far, but just because it's not readily available in the uk (yet) dosent mean it is not a better product than some on the Market, how do you think the options we have today are available? Because people tried them out and word spread, prices dropped with higher demand, and use became widespread. I'm not saying this is some new wonder soil that does amazing things, just that it could be a good product. |
